The Mona School of Business and Management has partnered with the Negril Chamber of Commerce (NCC) for their annual MBA Field projects since 2019.  As a partnering organization in this initiative, the NCC has provided real life situations requiring students to synthesize what they have learned to research and address contemporary business problems.

As a result, their research and hard work has been of great benefit to the NCC's organization and advocacy efforts. Since 2019, groups of MBA students have conducted extensive research projects aimed at addressing unique business problems in Negril:

  • Governance in Negril
  • Negril Craft Market
  • Negril Fruit and Vegetable Market
  • Negril Recycling Center
  • Entertainment in Negril
